Happy New Year 2009

The year is already flying by and I can’t seem to keep up with it all. Time to get upcoming classes finalized and travel plans laid out.

Fall was busy and I had wonderful classes with Jane Drynan at our Gran in the Midwest Seminar. Everyone, including me, had a great time. What a fun bunch! Next year will be our 10th year doing these five day extravaganzas in the Chicago area so plan to attend and we will try to make it extra special.

It is always fun to be with Jo Lutness in Deleware. Check out the new look at her web site www.paintersparadise.com. They always have great surfaces at great prices. Oops, I did not get any pictures …. Will do better next year.

Brenda did a super job organizing the beach seminar and I loved just showing up to teach and being with so many of you. Look forward to next year already.

California and being with Diane is always wonderful. We have such a great time together. We are already planning for next year and look forward to seeing more of you.

White House Project

Through SDP I had a wonderful opportunity to be involved in painting containers for the Christmas decorations for the White House. It was a great experience.

Christmas in Vermont

We spent Christmas in Vermont at the Landgrove Inn. Our daughter Kristie and granddaughters, Caroline (L) and Paige (second from R), went with us. It was a winter wonderland white Christmas always to be remembered.

2009
Panama City, Florida

We head out to Florida next week to teach and visit the Emerald Coast Chapter in Panama City. I look forward to seeing Jen Sykes and her super painting buddies. I love going back. This will be my third visit with these gals.

Now I have you up to date. I have a new book in the works but seems I don’t work as fast as I used to. Should be available by the SDP Convention in Peoria in June. We will let you know. Be sure to check www.gransgarden.com for my schedule and changes. Hope to see you all in a class sometime.
